It is that time of the year again when we have to train ourselves in preparation for the 2009 - 5 km Niagara's Rankin Cancer Run / Walk. This year event will be held on May 23rd at 10:00 AM at the Grantham Lions Club located at 732 Niagara Street (Corner of Parnell Road) in St. Catharines. Please note funds raised from this event are given back to our community for immediate cancer care.
Over the last two years, our team had raised more than $2100 for this worthy cause. We are hoping to raise $1000 this year. The registration fee for each runner is $20. Please review your schedule and let me know if you're available to participate with our team this year.
